The City of McKinney promotes the cultural, aesthetic and economic vitality of the city by integrating art into public places, civic infrastructure and development.
The McKinney Public Art Program builds our community’s identity by initiating artwork and exhibitions that enhance the vitality of our community.
Artwork also adds value to new development by lending a special sense of identity, creating memorable public places and conveying a sense of civic purpose.
The McKinney Blossoms Mosaic and the sculpture at Mitchell Park are two recent additions to our collection of public art. Find out more about them on the virtual tour.
The Monarchs of McKinney is our most recent installation. Located at seven different places throughout the city, the Monarchs are a spectacular sight to behold. Find out more about the Monarchs of McKinney on our website and by watching the video below.
